Protected areas

Region Murcia Salinas and Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar: North of La Manga del Mar Menor, in the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar. Protected as natural park and open ZEPA spaces and islands of Mar Menor, are protected within the space of five volcanic islands in the Mar Menor:
La Isla Perdiguera, the Big Island or Baron, Deer Island, Rondella Island and the Isle Subject, as well as spaces delsaladar Lo Poyo, the Carmolí (both heads like the sea), the beach of La Hita, the head of San Ginés and Marchamalo salt.
