The region of the Mar Menor is one of the regions of Murcia(Spain) defined in the proposal approved by the Councilcomarcalización Regional de Murcia in 1980.
Under that proposal the Mar Menor region includes the municipalities of LosAlcazares, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and TorrePacheco.
