MAR menor islands of the southern interior of the Mar Menor we came across five islands. The largest island is known as the Mayor or the Baron and has a height of 104 m. This island is preserved in very good condition for being allowed access to private ownership. Smaller is the island Perdiguera, which can be accessed and which are very common excursions, also has three bars where you can take a break and taste the typical local products. The three remaining islands, Round, Deer and Subject are the smallest and most numerous birds inhabit them. Today they are all being protected by Natural Areas.
